The Joy Voices Choir has not stopped: we have chosen a song from our repertoire and each of us, from our own home, has recorded it. The result is, for us, a new performance, different from the usual, which we share to send you our best wishes so that you can spend this difficult period serenely, despite everything. Our thoughts and prayers are dedicated in particular to those who fight the virus in the front line, to those who work to guarantee us the essential services, to those who are alone, to those who are sick, to those who are in despair, to those who did not make it and to those who have lost a loved one. Let us send a message of hope for the future, raising our voices to the Lord, confident that He will listen to us and that we will soon return to embrace Him again. These singers have already demonstrated their enthusiasm for exploring various genres and styles, and their performances are infused with infectious joy and Youthful enthusiasm. They act as ambassadors for the Community School of Music and Arts to reach the broader community through performance and share their love of music.

In this time the Choir has participated in the Madrid Community Choir contest, obtaining the first prize in 2009 and 2010, and the secón prize in 2007 and 2008 Within the Choir activities, we could also mention their participation in theatre productions of the musicals Persephone and Midas by Steve Pogson, with which they obtained the first prize in the Vademorillo theatre contest. They were also awarded first prize in the Community of Madrid theatre contest, with the musical Super Jim, a play which was written specially for the Choir by the British authors Steve Pogson and George Simmers.
