Much of The music we sing is arranged in The barbershop style. Along with entertaining our local audience KCC competes in The Mid Atlantic District of The Barbershop Harmony Society and is a consistent champion in our Division. KCC also promotes quartet singing as well as a cappella singing among The youth in our region. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings 7pm and are always open for visitors so feel free to visit to find out more and to see if our group is right for you.  less

In These few Years, The young all-girls choir has grown from strength to strength. Since June 2009, under The direction of Their conductor, Mr Darius Lim, The choir has garnered numerous accolades and awards to Their name. In 2010 The choir won The Gold Award at The 3rd Orientale Concentus International Choral Competition in Yilan, Taiwan. The choir was also Category Winner and was one of four choirs to be invited to compete in The grand finals. In 2011 The choir attained Their first Silver award at The Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Choirs. In The same year They came in 2nd at The National A Capella Championships. The choir has also collaborated with numerous national ensembles such as The Singapore Police Force Band and Choir and The Singapore Armed Forces Band. Last July, over 100 BIG Sing members flash mobbed The Maldon Tesco Store and The YouTube video has had over 16,000 views, raising money for Cancer Research UK. As well as community events, The BIG Sing have hosted Their own sold out shows in Essex and have many more coming up this year! As The BIG Sing grows we are continuing to reach out to more people of all ages and backgrounds. We aim to unite people with uplifting music and have seen The choir members grow in confidence, experience The thrill of performing on stage, make new friends and belong to a new choir family.
