LSYC believes that all children are capable of discovering their voice. Our programs provide students in grades 2 through 10 with a creative musical outlet for discovering the joys of teamwork, cultural awareness, self-confidence, self discipline, and unparalleled musical opportunities.

We are located in Oslo an has a very broad repertoar from medieval to contemporary music. We sing in many languages and in many genres; classical, church music, romantic songs, folk music, jazz; with our main focus in classical music. We have been singing for 15 years and held concerts in several European capitals. Taking our singing seriously, we are a very social singers who likes to perform with other choirs or musicians.

This auditioned SATB choir has a long history of performing high quality choral music at various events including school concerts, community events, and National conferences and festivals. Last year after winning the St John’s group choral Rosebowl, this choir won both the Provincial Music Festival and the National Music Festival of Canada. The choir has been featured on local television and radio programs and even performed live in concert International Children performing icons- The Wiggles. However, it also sings with instrumental accompaniment. The choir has pieces from different ages, languages and styles in its repertoire. It gives both Turkey and world premieres of songs. It premiered the concerto Romeo and Juliet, composed by the conductor Agosyan last year.
