Our regular season consists of at least 4 concerts featuring a variety of musical genres and styles.
Because we seek to create meaningful musical experiences, we value interaction and education in our performances. Our audience members often tell us how much they Love learning about the music from our director’s comments, which help them more fully enter into the music and enjoy it. less

RUC provides mentorship programs that foster community among its members and encourages music-making of the highest level, understanding that music exists in all areas of our lives. Through participation in the Rise Up Chorus, participants will:
Understand that we all have value
Understand that WE ARE the music, not just makers of music
Music isn’t limited to rehearsal and performance. Music envelops our lives and becomes who we are.
We use music to do good in the world
We use music for healing
We use music to serve others
We are a place for everyone
We break down barriers and do the right thing every time.

During choir recruiting there was no audition, skills assessment or notes reading required. Positive energy and desire to sing was all that mattered. Conductor Ewa Robak, PhD agreed to lead this unusually formed group. Her professionalism helped overcome doubts and proved that amateur singing can astonish both performers and their listeners.
This exciting and full of surpRises adventure continues today with well-received concerts, charity performances and Piesniobrania – sing-alongs with city residents joining Antidotum in squares and concert halls.
The Choir’s repertoire includes choral classics, adapted folk songs, unconventional arrangements of contemporary pop songs, as well as patriotic and religious pieces.

While in #choir-antine, LSYC singers wanted to give back to our community we Love so much. LSYC performs Eric Barnum's "I Sing of the Northland," a piece commissioned by LSYC in 2016.
