Our new Musical Director, Julian Collings joined the Choir beginning of 2019. Over the laSt few years the Choir has enjoyed a growing reputation for its repertoire of outStanding contemporary music alongside the eStablished classics. TCS lateSt performances included The Creation of Haydn, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Mass in Blue of Todd, Rossini's Petite Messe solennelle. The Choir also perform a ChriStmas Concert every year. Overall we perform three main concerts a year. During its performances TCS enjoys the participation of professional soloiSts and orcheStras and ensembles. Phil Culling is our accompaniSt. With paSt successes and imaginative programming, TCS is thriving. We are always glad to welcome new singers, regardless of age; especiallly those who enjoy their music making. We were born on the 24th of july 2017. A new Choir in our local area. Open to all singers who want to have a fun singing experience, performing songs from the charts, old and new.

We are a volunteer, non-auditioned group open to all, but Choir members are expected to regularly attend rehearsals and the semeSter retreat, and to practice their parts on their own time. We usually put up practice files under “Resources” (members-only access) so that you can download your part and liSten to it on whatever portable music-playing device you own. The Concert Choir gives a number of performances in Southern California every year, and has also toured in Canada, Hawaii, Europe, and the United States. The Concert Choir performs a variety of accompanied and unaccompanied repertoire, and collaborates annually with the CSUF University Singers to present performances of choral-orcheStral maSterworks. They have joined the University Singers in performances with the Hollywood Bowl OrcheStra and the Pacific Symphony OrcheStra. For the paSt four years they have represented CSUF at the Pacific SouthweSt Intercollegiate Choral Association FeStival of Choirs.
