Usually consisting of 20 to 24 members, the Chorale focuses primarily on chamber choir repertoire and tackles a wide variety of styles, languages, and techniques. Chorale membership is reserved for students who demonstrate some level of music-reading ability, experience singing in advanced choral ensembles, and/or the potential to thrive in a small, advanced chamber choir environment. During the audition process, careful attention is given to maintaining artistic balance among the sections of the chorus. In addition to performances throughout the academic year, students in Chorale are expected to remain on campus for an additional week after the conclusion of each spring semester to perform in Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremonies and participate in end-of-year touring activities.  less

During the 1990s the Chorale helped re-establish this historic church’s secondary role as a center for culture and community. ADC’s artistic success and benefit to the Cathedral community inspired additional collaborations with other Dallas cultural institutions. In 2001 The Cathedral Chorale became the Arts District Chorale, receiving its non-profit 501(c)(3) status in 2004. Arts District Chorale is now a signature all-volunteer ensemble of 60 gifted amateur and professional vocalists from all walks of life which annually presents four large-scale season events and ten to fifteen smaller events in collaboration with the world-class cultural venues of the downtown Dallas Arts District. The Chorale had an humble beginning in 1992 under a very different name and with a smaller group of choristers in the City of Gosnells, it is now based in Bunbury Western Australia. The current choristers come from country centres such Wickepin, Cuballing, Narrogin, Donnybrook, Harvey, Perth and of course Bunbury. The Chorale travels extensively and is always in demand interstate and overseas. The Nightingale's rehearsals takes place the first three Fridays of each month from 6.10 pm to 8.10 pm, and the 4th Sunday of every month from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. The rehearsal venue is at the Walker Hall,Bunbury. Meeting times will be changed as from 10th February 2012 and will be advertised well in advance  less
