Abramek was born in 1930 in Lodz, Poland, and died 1944 in the infamous concentration camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau. He wrote this poem during the time that his family was trapped in the Lodz ghetto. This poem was not found until 1983 when Eliezer ("Lolek") Grynfeld, the poet's half-brother, discovered it among their late father's belongings. Nuestro sueño no hace falta soñarlo en pasado, lo soñamos cada vez que nos subimos a un escenario. Con los nervios a flor de piel, que se notaron, por los estrenos, desgranamos cada una de las obras, nuevas , frescas, como todo aquello que escribe , compone, o en donde "mete la mano" Sergio Rodríguez , nuestro director. Dejarse llevar por sus gestos, le da otro significado a la palabra "cantar". Muchas gracias al ISTIC ( Instituto Superior de Teología de las Islas Canarias )y a la Universidad de La Laguna por la invitación , a D. Juan Pedro Rivero que nos trató con una amabilidad que no está de moda y por supuesto al público asistente. Cuando cantas y escuchas "bravo" varias veces, piensas que algo estás haciendo bien . A los polifonicxs, muchas gracias, por el esfuerzo, por las horas, por renovarse en cada ensayo y en cada concierto.
