The Silver fleet (de Zilvervloot) was an annual convoy of ships in the 16th and 17th centuries, in which valuables from the Spanish colonies in America were shipped to Spain. The choir represented Singapore at the 2018 World Choir Games in Tshwane, South Africa, and brought home a gold and a Silver medal in separate categories. In 2017, TGS emerged champion for the chamber category in the 5th Vietnam International Choir Competition. Under the leadership of music director, Adyll Hardy, TGS has performed full-length concerts at the Esplanade Recital Studio, Victoria Concert Hall, SOTA Concert Hall and YST Conservatory Concert Hall. The Revelations won two Gold and one Silver medal at the World choir games in Austria (2008) singing choral a-cappella style music in the Gospel, Pop, and Male voice vocal ensemble categories. They were also declared world Champions in two of the categories after achieving the highest number of points in these two categories.
