His refashiOned version with the famous Latin text Ubi caritas et amor was commissiOned by Prince William and premiered by the choirs of Westminster Abbey and Her Majesty's Chapel Royal, conducted by James O'Donnell, at the Royal Wedding of His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales with Miss Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey in April 2011. Mealor uses a combination of a plainchant style and misleading harmonic suspensions similar to those of Eric Whitacre or Morten Lauridsen.
