The group is composed of talented students of the college from different levels, gathered together by their common passion, the passion for singing. But talent and passion is not enough, rehearsing is also one of the essential elements in creating good music. With Mr. Karl Angelo Tangco, a voice major from the College of Music, as their conductor, they were able to produce great music together through continuous rehearsals, and so, the journey of the chorale begins...  less

It is a chamber choir dedicated to European Vocal music from the nineteenth century onwards. As its director, Pierre Louis Godeberge has given with the Groupe Vocal GYMEL numerous concerts in Paris and its metropolitan area, in Champagne-Ardennes, Touraine and Normandy. He has conducted both religious and secular a cappella repertoires, notably Slavic and Church slavonic music. He has also premièred works by French contemporary composers (Bicalho, Maillé, Anders). It has appeared in major venues in Austria, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Wales, and Ireland. The ensemble regularly collaborates with the Des Moines Symphony and sang the Beethoven Ninth Symphony with that orchestra in September 2011. The Drake Choir has performed in Carnegie Hall and has been featured on the conference program of the American Choral Directors Association North Central Division. The ensemble consists of 64-70 singers who are first-year students through seniors and who represent every College of the University. Auditions for returning students take place in April and for new students during the weekend preceding the start of the fall semester. The ensemble rehearses Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 3:30-5:00 p.m. and is conducted by Dr. Aimee Beckmann-Collier, Director of Choral Studies and Professor of Condcuting.  less

MGC travelled widely in Europe and had a High standard. In 2003, we changed our name to Manx Voices. We love singing to community groups, in church services and concerts. We compete in our local music festivals and have sung on stage with Blake. We are a very democratic, mutually supportive group of women ranging in age from 10 to 70!  

The Vocal Ensemble of C&N Secondary Girls School Oranje, Con Spirito sing this Miracle Medley. It consists of When you Believe, Let it rain and Majesty. This performance was in the St Anne's church in Budapest.

A trio arrangement of the old English folk song "Green Broom" about a young man who is sent out to work and finds a lady who wants to marry him. I have classified this as SSA but it is also possible for Soprano Mezzo and Alto Other lower versions are coming soon.
