The Choir performs every Sunday evening in the Roman Catholic cathedral of St. Colman's, a majestic building situated on a hill in the town famed for being the last port of call for the Titanic. The membership of the Choir has grown considerably in the last five years and it now boasts more than 30 voices. The Choir is a previous winner at the world famous Cork Choral Festival and has travelled to Vienna, London and Italy to perform at various events. In 2009 the Choir was honored to be asked to sing in St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City for the Sunday liturgy. That same year they also performed at Westminster Cathedral. The Choir represented Singapore at the 2018 World Choir Games in Tshwane, South Africa, and brought home a gold and a silver medal in separate categories. In 2017, TGS emerged champion for the chamber category in the 5th Vietnam International Choir Competition.
Under the leadership of music director, Adyll Hardy, TGS has performed full-length concerts at the Esplanade Recital Studio, Victoria Concert Hall, SOTA Concert Hall and YST Conservatory Concert Hall. For its fifth anniversary, the Choir launched its debut EP, now available on Spotify and iTunes.

In new season the Choir continues to make up steps towards new artistic activities. The main activities of the Choir are finding the new ways to music, its expresion and presenting new ideas, cooperation with composers and many professional musicians. Now, the Choir Mūza is making a new image and wants to show multiplicity of the Choir music. In its programs the Choir performes modern music and a big part is left of Latvian classical music as well as traditional Latvian folk-music.
The Choir Mūza was established in 1947. Its founder and leader through out many years has been maestro Leonids Vigners (1906-2001).

THE ZULULAND GOSPEL Choir was established in 2006 by Mr. Franklyn Mkhize and Mr. Alfred Banda. It consists of 27 members and a 5 piece band. Their ages range from 18 to 35 years and they are based in Kwazulu Natal.
THE members of this Choir come from many different places around Zululand and 90% of them are unemployed.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
• The main aim of this Choir is to gather people who have the same vision together to produce good ‘live’ performances. Also to record strong material and spread the word of God through music.
• To search for talent and make use of it in the most profitable way.
• To create job opportunities for the youth.
• To grow and develop artists in music.
• To make a difference in people’s lives by creating job opportunities.
WE audition artists who apply to us and then choose the very best.
WE rehearse every weekend (Fridays and Saturdays) in Richards Bay.
WE compose songs and also encourage Choir members to do the same.

The Choir is made up of 25 members from a variety of professional backgrounds, including teachers, scientists, clerics, accountants, carpenters, and engineers. The Choir's repertoire consists mainly of choral works from the renaissance and 20th century, as well as contemporary pieces in Hungarian, English, Latin, Italian, French, and German.
The Gesualdo Choir has earned several national and international awards, winning top ratings in Hungary as well as 2nd and 3rd place prizes at the prestigious Tonen Choir competition in the Netherlands. BUMC Jazz Choir 2008 members, the winners of the IKSV Young Jazz 2008, who have boosted their success by attending to the most prestigious a cappella contest in the world, 'Vokal Total', in both pop and jazz categories and won 2 'Silver Diplom's and also have sung many times in many festivals such as the 15th International Istanbul Jazz Festival and the Akbank 18th Jazz Festival.
They also gave special concerts with Sertab Erener (ESC 2003 winner). The group carries on with their professional musical careers under the name “Istanbul Essence”.

Somerville Choir is curr... moreThe Choir of Somerville College Oxford, in its present form, was founded by Francis Knights and Sam Bayliss in 2001. The Choir sings evensong every Sunday during term and performs in concerts organised by Somerville Music Society. Somerville Choir is currently being conducted by David Crown. He is assisted by the two organ scholars, Douglas Knight and Robert Pecksmith (http://www.robert-smith.org.uk ), and Choir manager Stefan Schwarz.
Since David Crown took over as Director of Chapel Music in 2007, the Choir has been involved in two opera productions (Purcell's 'Dido and Aeneas ' and Gluck's 'Orfeo ed Euridice') as well as concerts in Oxford, Brighton, Wells, Swindon, Upton upon Severn and Steeple Aston. In recent years the Choir has also sung evensong at Southwark, Worcester, Winchester, Wells and Berlin Cathedrals.
