Though founded and based in Whitby, our memBership is made up of residents from all over Durham Region and The GTA. We truly represent and reflect The diversity of The Region in which we perform. The choir currently numBers 70 to 80 choir memBers ranging in age from 18 to 80.

Our regular season consists of at least 4 concerts featuring a variety of Musical genres and styles. Because we seek to create meaningful Musical experiences, we value interaction and education in our performances. Our audience memBers often tell us how much They Love learning about The Music from our director’s comments, which help Them more fully enter into The Music and enjoy it.  less

During choir recruiting There was no audition, skills assessment or notes reading required. Positive energy and desire to sing was all that mattered. Conductor Ewa Robak, PhD agreed to lead this unusually formed group. Her professionalism helped overcome doubts and proved that amateur singing can astonish both performers and Their listeners. This exciting and full of surprises adventure continues today with well-received concerts, charity performances and Piesniobrania – sing-alongs with city residents joining Antidotum in squares and concert halls.
