At its heart is a repertoire which spans six centuries and embraces all styles of music. Musical Director Peter Leech is planning an exciting concert next July to celebrate the group's tenth anniversary. Every concert features music from every aspect of Spectra Musica’s repertoire. The Choir’s next performances are on Saturday 5th December 2015 American Museum Bath Saturday 20th February 2016 – Come and Sing Day. Celebrating world music and arts Promoting multi-cultural awareness Supporting children's health and education projects in The Gambia, West Africa As well as hosting an annual World Musicand Arts Festival and the choir we also run a weekly West African Drumming workshop. Paralia is a touristic seaSide village situated on the west coast of the Thermaic Gulf and in the shadow of Olympus. The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, the character and the main concept of both parts is joining music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of the Festival is to bring the music closer to the people and to present the music on the streets and the squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. All choir ensembles, regardless of the members’ gender and age can apply for participation at the Festival. GENERAL CONDITIONS All choir ensembles may join one part of the Festival: Competitive or Non-competitive.  less
