The Chamber C...  moreThe Cantilon Chamber Choir is Western Canada’s only professional level children’s choir. Singers in this ensemble demonstrate a high level of commitment to choral Singing and to sharing this art with audiences at home and around the world. The Chamber Choir forms the core of Cantilon’s touring and recording program and participates in many exciting and unique activities throughout the year. The Chamber Choir performs locally in concert at least four times per season, and competes in music festivals at local, provincial and national levels. The Chamber Choir generally follows a three-year touring cycle: a regional tour in year one, national tour in year two, and an international tour every third year. In addition to its regular concert series, the Chamber Choir is often invited to perform with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Pro Coro Canada, Edmonton Opera and the Richard Eaton Singers.  less

BUMC Jazz Choir 2008 members, the winners of the IKSV Young Jazz 2008, who have boosted their success by attending to the most prestigious a cappella contest in the world, 'Vokal Total', in both pop and jazz categories and won 2 'Silver Diplom's and also have sung many times in many festivals such as the 15th International Istanbul Jazz Festival and the Akbank 18th Jazz Festival. They also gave special concerts with Sertab Erener (ESC 2003 winner). The group carries on with their professional musical careers under the name “Istanbul Essence”. In July 2010, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir returned back to Turkey with 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and 3 gold diplomas from the 'WORLD CHOIR GAMES' in China which is being shown as the biggest and the most prestigious choral music event, being held with nearly 40000 participations from 90 countries.
