Please contact me: • Facebook: david.basden.9 • New email: deebee123 [at] bigpond.com - - - - - Language: Latin. Standard of difficulty: fairly easy. Duration: circa 1½ minutes. No divisi. No extreme ranges. One page. Suitable for both church and concert hall. I wrote this with the aim of presenting the prayer with as much clarity as possible. To that end, I've set the text phrase by phrase rather than as deconstructed fragments. The score may be downloaded and used for church or concert performances free of charge. Please let me know when the performance date is approaching. I'm keen to receive feedback, and I'll happily link your publicity material and website to my social media pages. Choirs are most welcome to post their own versions here on ChoirPlace.  One';">less

Lift your feet up so you won't miss it, Wake up, take advantage, The Tap-Tap is warming up! If your legs are short, get a head start; The best time is now, Don't say you didn't know, Those who are wise are those who lead. Don't let time pass you by, It's time for you to get on board, The Tap-Tap is leaving now, It's time for us to go! Hurry up, walk quickly! Lift your feet up and don't miss it, The Tap-Tap is taking off! Don't fool around, get on! Don't wait, don't stare, Don't joke around, get on! The Tap-Tap might just leave you! Get up! Stand proud! The copyright has now been transferred to Enitharmon quoting "U A Fanthorpe New and Collected Poems, Enitharmon 2010" who have also kindly given permission. It is an unusual and quite modern view of the Christmas story The site where Alan published his music is currently offline but if you are interested in singing this piece, check back here for updates.  One';">less
