We exist to educate, to perform and to make friends. We teach vocal production, harmonization and musicianship to our members, in an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie.

EFC is a choir of around 75 singers, attracting people from all parts of the South West region. We perform with professional orchestras and soloists, and aim to bring choral music of the highest quality to our audiences. Under the inspired and dynamic musical direction of Nigel Perrin, EFC has become one of the region’s most versatile and highly acclaimed choral groups. We provide a broad range of music for our audiences, covering a great variety of genres and periods; we revisit standard works within the choral repertoire and explore new challenges from the contemporary musical scene. World premiere performance of Agnus Dei by Chris Artley, given in August 2015 by the Metropolitan Chorus of Tokyo conducted by Ko Matsushita. Agnus Dei won 3rd prize in the 1st Japan International Choral Composition Competition 2015.
