This 65 to 70 member, mixed-voice ensemble sings for services in Christ Chapel, for Christmas in Christ Chapel, an annual spring tour, and at special College events. Major city tour destinations have included San Antonio, St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, Milwaukee, Lincoln, and Omaha. Membership is by audition. Conducted by Bradon Dean.

Founded in 1934, the Victoria Choral Society has played a leading role in V...  moreThe Victoria Choral Society, directed by Brian Wismath, is an auditioned, mixed-voice symphonic choir dedicated to presenting the finest choral music from baroque to contemporary. Founded in 1934, the Victoria Choral Society has played a leading role in Victoria's cultural life, and has performed with every Victoria Symphony conductor since the Symphony’s inception. The choir was created after 200 singers, representing most of the church choirs of the day in Victoria, assembled in 1934 to sing Messiah. They agreed to continue singing together to promote choral music, and the Victoria Choral Society, at that time called the Victoria Choral Union, was formed. The instrumentalists who played with the choir later formed the Victoria Symphony. Recent performances with the Victoria Symphony include Wagner's Lohengrin (Third Act), Verdi's Requiem, Orff's Carmina Burana, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Britten's War Requiem, and Handel’s Messiah. The choir has over 50 members and fulfills about 20 engagements a year performin...  moreBased in Swadlincote, nestled at the southern tip of Derbyshire, England, Gresley takes its name from the Parish of Church Gresley nearby, where the choir was born in 1904. The choir has over 50 members and fulfills about 20 engagements a year performing for a range of societies from small groups, churches to national bodies, and has toured extensively, in the U.K., Ireland, Europe and U.S.A. including a number of choir exchange visits.  

We are a mixed voice choir singing a variety of musical styles including classical, pop, musicals, sacred and Scottish songs. Members' ages range from teenagers to octogenarians. To date we have recorded over 30 albums and raised over £1.5 million for charity.
