The group is composed of talented students of the college from different levels, gathered together by their common passion, the passion for singing. But talent and passion is not enough, rehearsing is also one of the essential elements in creating good music. Our aspiration is to take township choral singing to Higher a level. Our aspiration is to take township choral singing to Higher a level. We are also aiming at focusing more on choral projects and concerts than competitions so that our singers enjoy singing and get compensated for engaging in the Choir. Choir members are taught Theory and History of music for free.

It was originally formed by Ben Camaso as JCSV Chorale, a name patterned in accordance to the Jaime Cardina...  LAss="view_more_link" href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="$(this).getParent().getNext().style.dispLAy='';$(this).getParent().style.dispLAy='none';">moreLAss="view_more" style="dispLAy:none;">The Munting Himig Chorale (MHC) had its humble beginning way back on the fifth day of January, year 2005 and started with not more than 15 members. It was originally formed by Ben Camaso as JCSV Chorale, a name patterned in accordance to the Jaime Cardinal Sin VilLAge Community, which in that time was newly constructed, located at Punta. Sta. Ana, ManiLA, where the parish is situated. Before, they compose of only girls, singing melody of the songs of the Holy Mass. A year passed, Virgilio Deloso handled the Choir, and divided the girls into two voices, the Sopranos and Altos. It was not so long that the group acquired male participants filling up all the voice sections of a Chorale. Shortly after, JCSV Chorale was then disbanded to give rise to what they now call the Munting Himig Chorale, having more than 20 god-endearing and angelic-voiced youth of Punta.
