Phoenix have performed around the world, in the USA, Canada, Holland and Ireland as well as all over Britain in world renowned venues such as the Birmingham Symphony Hall, Royal Albert Hall and The Sage in Gateshead.

Sounds of Summit is a group of the best singers, students, Musicians, and citizens that Lee’s
Summit High School offer. They have been auditioned and selected from a program of 250
singers and identified as the cream of the crop based on their beauty of... moreSounds of Summit is a group of the best singers, students, Musicians, and citizens that Lee’s
Summit High School offer. They have been auditioned and selected from a program of 250
singers and identified as the cream of the crop based on their beauty of vocal tone, Musical
intelligence, sight reading ability and academic achievement. They are also instrumentalists,
actors, athletes, student leaders and ambassadors of LSHS. Most importantly, they are
students who are DEDICATED to being the best they can be.
As a result of these high standards, Sounds of Summit has developed a reputation in Lee’s
Summit and around the nation as one of the elite high School level performing ensembles.
We are frequently asked to perform with UMKC’s Conservatory, as well as multiple appearances
at the Missouri Music Educators Convention. We are also in high demand with community
groups for performances around Christmas time. Most recently we were given the

Every one of them have learned and recorded ind... moreThe Junior High Students of the Colegio Sembradores de Amistad in San Luis Potosí, Mexico show us that Music is an universal language that brings us together, defeating every obstacle like time and space.
Every one of them have learned and recorded individually a part of an original song (Vuela Alto = Fly High). When brought together, this parts sums to a wonderful show of talent and Music. This project was made for the graduation prom by students aged between 13 and 15 years old.
They show us that the only thing that matters to achieve anything is take the risk and surrender to your dreams. More than a third of them have never sung to an audience before (including Linda, the soloist).
The Music brings us together, it allows us to raise our voice to the universe and with it "Ni la distancia podrá separarnos" (Not even the distance can take us apart). less
