The Society's 200 members come from all walks of life to volunteer their time for the joy of making music together. In addition to its concert programs, the Society works to further oratorio singing and provides young singers with the opportunity to advance their careers through the annual Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition.

There is no pre-requisite to have prior singing or Choir experience so we welcome beginners as well as seasoned vocalists. The minimum age requirement for our adult chorale is 16yrs. Both males and female are welcome to join our Soprano, Alto, Tenor or Bass groups. Performances are organised in conjunction with local council support throughout the year

Our mission as an ensemble is to connect with the Community and each other through the exploration of quality choral music, including the promotion of women composers, within an engaging, encouraging, and intergenerational environment focused on healthy vocal technique and artistic excellence. We encourage those with children to join us as we have a tandem youth choral program (Consonare Youth Choirs) that rehearses at the same time.  less
