Since 2008 The St. Lawrence Choir has been under The direction of Michael Zaugg. The Swiss-born musician has distinguished himself as an innovative and versatile conductor on The Canadian choral scene. Active as artistic director, guest conductor, pedagogue and clinician, Michael Zaugg brings a wealth of experience and creativity to his work. St. Lawrence Choir was formed in 1972 by Iwan Edwards and a group of singers residing in The West Island of Montreal. Concerts were presented in Lachine until 1983 when The Choir relocated to downtown Montreal. We have a varied repertoire of well-known pop and jazz songs, as well as The occasional folk song. A mixed choir or various age groups, we have regular concerts in The Berlin region, but also furTher afield, often abroad. FilCoro is The professional arm of The Wellington Filipino Community Choir and is managed by Exceptional Communications. FilCoro is short for Filipino Coro (Spanish for Chorus). The name reflects The choir's mixed ethnic heritage.

Founded in 1989 by Mr. Albert Morland to provide an opportunity for ex-members of The Wonderboom High School Choir to continue singing togeTher after matriculating, it has since evolved to include members from a broader community that come from various backgrounds and professions (including law, accounting, nursing, teaching and IT) and are between 18 and 65 years of age. The choir has toured and performed across South Africa during The past 30 years and has an established reputation as a warm, friendly and “no-fuss” group with good choral sound who are just as comfortable performing at nursing homes and oTher charitable events as They are performing alongside The best choirs in The world on International stages, for instance, at The 10th World Choir Games in 2018, where They took home a silver medal (79.5%) in The champion’s category for mixed adult choirs. Our performances are described as ‘absolutely incredible’, ‘stunning’, ‘inspiring’, and ‘hugely surprising’. That’s because we work hard to deserve such comments. We began 6 years ago as The Lothian and Borders Police Choir and have performed at events in large and small venues, have sung in New York, representing Scotland at The 10th anniversary of 9/11, at T in The Park, have sold out at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and have been highly placed in competitions.  less
