(Www.africanyouthChoir.org) This biennial project is organizing a technical course with cultural exchange during a Summer camp for two weeks in an African country. Then the Choir is prepared to perform in major events in Africa, or to represent Africa in major festivals included in the global agenda of choral singing. The desire is to gather young singers from around Africa for integration through song, to enrich their cultural diversity, to to become messengers of peace on the continent and throughout the world, but also a model of multiculturalism. 40 singers from 10 african countries are selected after testing (16 to 26 years old) and work with an experienced conductor. We are an SATB Choir of between 40 & 50 singers. We perform a wide range of sacred and secular Choir Music at 3 concerts a year, in Ealing. Experienced singers are very welcome.

Te Deum was founded by Matthew Christopher Shepard in 2008 to fulfill an expressed need by both singers and audiences in the Kansas City area to present sacred choral Music concerts of the highest quality. The Te Deum Chamber Choir performed its first concert in spring 2009. Since then, the chamber Choir has built an impressive and varied repertoire that spans centuries of time and wide ranges of composition style. The CD is expertly conducted by the Choir's Musical director, James Sherlock and guest instrumentalists are 17-year old Edward Picton-Turbevill on the organ and award-winning young cellist James Barralet playing the solo part in Sir John Tavener's 'Svyati' for cello and Choir.
