This is Cadence, Canada’s premiere vocal group. Based in Toronto, this a cappella ensemble has been wowing audiences across The country and around The world for nearly 15 years. Founded in 1989 by Mr. Albert Morland to provide an opportunity for ex-members of The Wonderboom High School Choir to continue singing togeTher after matriculating, it has since evolved to include members from a broader community that come from various backgrounds and professions (including law, accounting, nursing, teaching and IT) and are between 18 and 65 years of age.
The choir has toured and performed across South Africa during The past 30 years and has an established reputation as a warm, friendly and “no-fuss” group with good choral sound who are just as comfortable performing at nursing homes and oTher charitable events as They are performing alongside The best choirs in The world on International stages, for instance, at The 10th World Choir Games in 2018, where They took home a silver medal (79.5%) in The champion’s category for mixed adult choirs.

We began 6 years ago as The Lothian and Borders Police Choir and have performed at events in large and small venues, have sung in New York, representing Scotland at The 10th anniversary of 9/11, at T in The Park, have sold out at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and have been highly placed in competitions.
