The Vocal Art Ensemble of Davis, California, in a joint concert with the Garda Male Voice Choir and the Carrigaline Singers of Ireland, a performance of Eric Whitacre's "Sleep." This was the fifth concert on VAE's performance tour of Ireland, September 2-11, 2010.

The organisation was set up by professional conductor, Emma Rowland, who suffers with anxiety and depression. Emma wanted to make Choirs, and singing, more accessible to everyone. During the COVID lockdown, SOS has been offering FREE virtual Choirs to the entire world. We're currently (June 2020) in 80 countries and working with thousands of singers each week. Our director is Linda Corcoran who also directs the current UK Champions ‘ The Great Western Chorus of Bristol’. We are actively recruiting new members and have ambitions for national and international performance. Almost all of our members are also in other Choirs and 'the Feds' rehearse together only once per month on average, so it is possible to stay with your current Choir and with us.

With a great sense of fun and a unique style of entertainment, the chorus has gripped audiences during its history of 34 years. Our close knit membership of nearly sixty guys has a strong commitment to vocal and performance excellence. Cottontown particularly enjoy competing in both national and international barbershop competitions.
