We rehearsed for most of The day in two-choir sections, with our four choral directors, Scott Inglis-Kidger, Sarah Tenant-Flowers, Riccardo Bonci and Jonny Davies. After lunch we began to put The sections togeTher. At 4pm we brought all 8 choirs togeTher and Scott Inglis-Kidger led a most thrilling final performance. Well, as The day progressed to afternoon, oTher tunes got added, resulting in a curious potpourri for choir and piano. The choir gets to sing "On Ilkla Moor", The Este psalter tune known to all, and also Auld Lang Syne. The second voice, in its madrigalian way, gets a sly English cadence!. Meanwhile, The piano also gets some sly references to "Sing a song of sixpence" and "Scotland The brave". Along side intensive voice training, drama instruction, Theory and ...  One';">moreOne;">The Grande Prairie Boys’ choir is celebrating its seventeenth season, providing audiences at home and away with The gift of song from The hearts of 135 boys between The ages of 7 and 20. Along side intensive voice training, drama instruction, Theory and sight reading in several smaller ensembles for several age categories, The choir produces 6 sold out concerts per year. Their most recent ambitions include producing a Symphony and Singing in The City concert with professional orchestral musicians mentoring local professional and semiprofessional performers from Grande Prairie. The Senior and Men of Note choirs have travelled Nationally to BC, and ON and internationally to Phoenix, Arizona. In 2014, They entered and won second place in The Canadian National Music Festival and in 2016 were chosen out of 45 choirs to perform at The National Choral Conference in Edmonton where They premiered a choral piece Magnificat Anima Mea to huge acceptance. It was originally formed by Ben Camaso as JCSV Chorale, a name patterned in accordance to The Jaime Cardinal Sin Village Community, which in that time was newly constructed, located at Punta. Sta. Ana, Manila, where The parish is situated. Before, They compose of only girls, singing melody of The songs of The Holy Mass. A year passed, Virgilio Deloso handled The choir, and divided The girls into two voices, The Sopranos and Altos. It was not so long that The group acquired male participants filling up all The voice sections of a chorale. Shortly after, JCSV Chorale was Then disbanded to give rise to what They now call The Munting Himig Chorale, having more than 20 god-endearing and angelic-voiced youth of Punta.
