We are a Mixed Choir of 30 members.Divided to 5 voices: soprano 'Mezzo Soprano,Alto,tenor,bass . Singing mostly Israeli songs, Members of the Choir are from various professions: Doctors, Lawyers, Engeeners, Social workers, Scientists, teachers.artists, The thing we have in common is our love of singing together , the challenge of improving our skills by studying and practicing in order to get an impressive final result. Our Musical director and conductor is one of the best most appreciated Musicians in Israel ,he has a lot of experience and all our repertoire consists of his very special arrangements. Our repertoire consists of various Musical styles : Israeli folk classics, Translated international songs by the Beatles and others, Gospels, A Cappella pieces. The Choir participated in Radio and T.V shows , and in Choir competitions, and is highly regarded as one of the best amateur Choirs in Israel.  less

The Choir's founder and artistic director is Maestro Zakar Keshishian. The Choir’s pianist is Mrs. Kamila Keshishian. The Choir has a multilingual playlist which extends from Armenian traditional folk songs to modern Armenian or non-Armenian songs. These songs are performed in different ways: - A capella - Accompanied by the piano - Accompanied by the Armenian folk traditional band - Accompanied by a modern contemporary band. Many Armenian Musicians from Armenia enrich the Choir's repertoire with their unique and creative works. The Choir members are composed of university students and secondary classes students in Armenian High Schools, as well as young Armenians in the work force. Founded in 1977, the Choir has gained a well-deserved reputation for performing neglected and unfamiliar Music as well as better known and popular pieces, both sacred and secular. New members are welcome and encouraged to attend three rehearsals before an informal voice appraisal.  

Under the direction of Itai Daniel, ECC sings the major repertoire of Jewish Music, either liturgical or secular. Ensemble Choral Copernic maintains the high Musical tradition which is the basis of the liturgy of ULIF-Copernic. 1 weekly rehearsal
