The Choir often performs at social events and Zagreb City events for tourists, and also regularly participates in domestic, national and international choral events, festivals and competitions.

Composed of about forty members, our group presents itself eiTher as a women’s choir, or a men’s choir or mixed choir. Our repertoire is varied and original : Renaissance, classical, traditional or more contemporary rhythms such as jazz, afro-latino, or contemporary songs. We celebrated in 2015 The thirtieth birthday of our association which has a long experience in exchange and sharing around choir singing. We have organized several festivals, masterclasses and various exchanges and thus contributed to The promotion of our region, The «département des Alpes-Maritimes» and to The development of choral singing (see examples below). Under its dynamic and energetic conductor, Ian Allan, The choir gives two regular concerts, usually at Christmas and in The Summer, and also takes part in The Mary Wakefield Festival in Kendal. In addition, rehearsals are taken by The deputy conductor, Tracie Penwarden, who is not only one of The region's leading sopranos but a superb choir trainer to boot. With The addition of David Edmonds as Their accompanist, Arnside Choral Society benefits from The expertise of three professionals, each with different specialisms.
