The Avalonian Free State Choir is an unaccompanied natural voice Choir with a repertoire of songs from all around the world, including salsa vocal percussion, the awe-inspiring stillness of sacred songs from Georgia and the heartbreaking melodies from Bulgaria.

The Choir of Notre-Dame de Bon Voyage has about 35 members and is the Choir of the parish of Cannes, on the French Riviera. The Choir s...  moreThe Choir of Notre-Dame de Bon Voyage has about 35 members and is the Choir of the parish of Cannes, on the French Riviera. It was founded in 1898 by Albert Frommer, organist, and is now conducted by Stephan Nicolay, chapel master, since 1999. The Choir sings each sunday and on special occasion in the different churches of Cannes. It also sings 4 to 6 concerts a year, sometimes with an orchestra. His repertory covers all the sacred music from gregorian chant to 21st century. Among the last masterworks done in concert with an orchestra are Requiem (Saint-Saens), Stabat Mater (Haydn), Vesperae Solennes de Confessore (Mozart), Gallia (Gounod), etc. New members are welcome.  less

Cunninghame Choir is an amateur Choir based at Beith Community Centre, N. Ayrshire. We perform 2 concerts a year and cover a wide range of choral genres.

Seeds of this traveling ministry were sown during the Choir’s initial recording session in October 1988. The Choir’s debut album, Great Is Thy Glory, released in April 1990 on the Micah Communications label was re-released as The Early Years. TMC’s second live recording, God is our Hope was released in 1994, followed in April 1998 by its Juno nominated album, Follow Him. In February 2002, Instrument of Praise was released. That year the Gospel Music Association Canada (GMAC) awarded TMC a Covenant Award for Best Urban/Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year. The Choir, which began at Brigham Young University as an early music ensemble, transformed into one of the premier non-collegiate chamber groups in the Western United States. This award-winning ensemble achieves high performance standards by drawing on the rich musical heritage of the region. Many Cantorum singers have solo careers and all have sung with top collegiate ensembles. A number have also sung as members of The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Utah Chamber Artists, and Salt Lake Vocal Artists. In addition, Cantorum is proud to have a high representation of talented choral educators. The group won both of its categories at the 2016 Interkultur competition and received special commendation for their performance of Dale Warland and Hugo Distler. The Choir at St Mary’s Cathedral is one of Scotland’s finest. It is made up of boys, girls, women and men from all walks of life and with many levels of musical expertise and experience, who give of their time and talent on an entirely voluntary basis to ...  moreThe Choir at St Mary’s Cathedral is one of Scotland’s finest. It is made up of boys, girls, women and men from all walks of life and with many levels of musical expertise and experience, who give of their time and talent on an entirely voluntary basis to sing to a professional standard. Membership of the Choir currently stands at around thirty-five adults and sixteen to twenty children. The Choir’s principal function is to provide the music and help lead the worship at the Cathedral’s two main services every Sunday: Sung Eucharist at 10.30 am and Choral Evensong at 6.30 pm. Services are preceded by a rehearsal, and there is a rehearsal once a week, currently on Thursday evenings. In addition to these important duties, the Choir also sings for regular special services, occasional concerts, broadcasts regularly on BBC Radio, has appeared on TV, and every year they sing in one of the great British Cathedrals for a weekend, or sometimes a week.
