When you pass through the floods, they will not sweep o’er. When you walk through the fire you will not be consumed. According to his wife, Constanze Mozart, the ailing composer had come to believe he was writing the piece, initially commissioned by a German count, to be played at his own funeral — and indeed some sections were. Requiem was later performed at the funerals and commemorative services of Ludwig van Beethoven, Joseph Haydn, and Frédéric Chopin. Centuries later in 1960, “scraps of paper” containing Mozart’s unrealized ideas were discovered, prompting new versions of the Requiem. Η επιλογή των μελών της Χορωδίας γίνεται ύστερα από ακροάσεις και οι χορωδοί τη...  moreΗ Παιδική Χορωδία του Συλλόγου Φίλων Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης (ΣΦΜΘ) ιδρύθηκε το 2008, στα πλαίσια των ευρύτερων καλλιτεχνικών προγραμματισμών του Μεγάρου Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης. Η επιλογή των μελών της Χορωδίας γίνεται ύστερα από ακροάσεις και οι χορωδοί της εκπαιδεύονται, αφενός στην ανάγνωση και ερμηνεία μουσικών έργων και αφετέρου στην φωνητική διαπαιδαγώγηση. Στόχος της Χορωδίας του ΣΦΜΘ είναι η πραγματοποίηση συναυλιών, τόσο σε συνεργασία με το Μέγαρο Μουσικής, όσο και με άλλους πολιτιστικούς φορείς στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό (σε εκδηλώσεις όπως κοντσέρτα, όπερα, χορωδιακά φεστιβάλ). Για την επίτευξη των καλλιτεχνικών στόχων της Παιδικής Xορωδίας συνεργάζονται παιδαγωγός φωνής και πιανίστα, δίδοντας στους μαθητές-χορωδούς πολύτιμες συμβουλές για την καλλιτεχνική τους πρόοδο. Στο μικρό χρονικό διάστημα η Παιδική Xορωδία του ΣΦΜΘ έχει αναπτύξει το ρεπερτόριο της από την παλαιά μουσική (Carissimi, Handel, Mozart, Haydn κ.ά.) μέχρι τον 20ο αιώνα, ερμηνεύοντας έργα Θεσσαλονικέων συνθετών, όπως των Βασίλη Θεο...    less
