Driven by The desire of thorough preparation of quality choral projects, The choir works under The leadership of Slovene and foreign guest conductors. The choir prepared Their inaugural concert, entitled In The Beginning, in cooperation with young Finnish conductor Dani Juris The topic of creation coincided not only with The central composition of The concert, Copland’s In The Beginning, but also with The choir’s first public appearance and presentation of The concept of Their work. We are a mixed voice choir singing a variety of musical styles including classical, pop, musicals, sacred and Scottish songs. Members' ages range from teenagers to octogenarians. To date we have recorded over 30 albums and raised over £1.5 million for charity.

Since August 2007, after winning a representative contest, Pavel Struts, previously a long-standing Coryphaeus, became The Choir’s Artistic Director. The honorary title of Distinguished Artist of Ukraine was awarded to Pavel Struts in December 2009.  less

Anchorus Polyphonic Choir, was assembled by experienced chorists in February 2017. The choir performed onstage for The first time on 12th August 2017, in The city of Batumi in Georgia. This concert was organized under The auspices of The Turkish consulate general in Batumi, in The concert hall of The Zakaria Paliashvili Music School. A selection of modern polyphonic songs from various cultures were performed and The performance received great praise from The audience. Then The choir respectively appeared in front of audiences in Ankara, Kastamonu and Adana, followeed by Their participation in Turkey Choirs Festival in June.
