Members of ...  moreThe Virginia Wesleyan Chorale is a small, auditioned group at Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, Virginia. The Choir is composed of 16-20 singers from all majors who perform a variety of music, from classical, to folk, to contemporary jazz. Members of The Wesleyan Chorale also perform in The Wesleyan Singers, an open-enrollment ensemble that performs a variety of music while developing vocal technique and musicianship skills.

Water Ruminations is a setting of six poems by The thirteenth-century poet Rumi, in English translations from The Persian by Coleman Barks, for double Choir and organ. The poetry sings of literal and spiritual connections between water and sky, a drop of water and human life, flowing water and love, drinking water and its container, The giddiness of spring and rolling seas, and The ocean's gifts and singing. We are inviting singers to join us for a 5-month journey of learning great music, creating valuable new relationship with oThers and sharing our music with oThers. If you love to sing, please join us. We meet every Tuesday evening from 6pm to 9pm at The Makiki Community of Christ Church at 1666 Mott Smith Dr. There is a small membership fee for participation and we promise that you will enjoy yourself.
