With two musical productions “Buenas Versiones” (2008) and “Rumba Romance” (2011) The Band has based Their work on research and development of new ways of interpreting a cappella vocal music of various genres, in implementing voices assemblies and timbres that inspired The creation of strings, wind and percussion. Thus, They recreate repertoires and original sounds of Venezuela and Latin American, which makes The band a new identity communication vehicle and The artistic and cultural development of The region. Zur Zeit bestehen die CHORKIDS ILLERTISSEN aus 56 Sängerinnen und Sänge...  moreBei den CHORKIDS ILLERTISSEN handelt es sich um einen Kinder- und Jugendchor des Gymnasiums Illertissen, der seit September 2001 besteht und einen Auswahlchor dieser Schule darstellt. Zur Zeit bestehen die CHORKIDS ILLERTISSEN aus 56 Sängerinnen und Sängern im Alter von 11 bis 16 Jahren. Mit viel Freude und Engagement proben diese Kinder bzw. Jugendlichen einmal in der Woche je nach Stimmgruppe zwei bis vier Stunden. Fünfmal im Jahr gibt es Intensiv-Probensamstage und einmal im Jahr Intensiv-Probentage im Allgäu. Der Chor hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, anspruchsvolle Chorliteratur verschiedener Stilepochen zu interpretieren. Dabei möchte er sich bewusst von vielen Klischees wenig kultivierten, schulchormäßigen Singens distanzieren und ist bei der Programmgestaltung darauf bedacht, dies auch nach außen hin sichtbar und hörbar zu machen. „Popularmusik“ ist Bestandteil, jedoch auf keinen Fall substanzieller Grundsatz der musikalischen Arbeit. This auditioned SATB Choir has a long history of performing high quality Choral music at various events including School Concerts, community events, and National conferences and festivals. Last year after winning The St John’s group Choral Rosebowl, this Choir won both The Provincial Music Festival and The National Music Festival of Canada. The Choir has been featured on local television and radio programs and even performed live in Concert International Children performing icons- The Wiggles. The Wiggles Performance garnered national attention with news articles in all major outlets across The country. The TCC is made up of Youth and adults from The Trumansburg Community. We welcome new members and are looking to grow The chorus. There is no audition to join our ranks, however, a basic knowledge of Choral singing and music is helpful.
