Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on the west coast of the Thermaic Gulf and in the shadow of Olympus. The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, the character and the main concept of both parts is joining music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of the Festival is to bring the music closer to the people and to present the music on the streets and the squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. All choir ensembles, regardless of the members’ gender and age can apply for participation at the Festival.  less

He has appeared as guest choir at the International Contest of Haban...  moreThe Maestro Casanovas Chorale was founded in 1986 and is named in recognition of the Maestro Francisco Casanovas. He has given concerts in different Spanish cities and internationally. He has appeared as guest choir at the International Contest of Habanera and Polyphony of Torrevieja. He has also performed concerts of polyphonic works of great composers from the Renaissance to the twentieth-century works. Most components of this choir are professional musicians or young students of instrumental or vocal music. The choir has performed concert tours in Switzerland, Italy and Cuba. Receive the following awards to date: 2 nd prize in Portugalete, 2nd prize and special prize in the contest of carols in Molina de Segura (Murcia), 2nd prize and prize for the best Nana in the contest of lullabies and carols in Rojales (Alicante ). The choirs perform regularly in major London venues including Royal Albert Hall, and sing with professional orchestras. They also tour extensively, and have performed in US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Seychelles and across Europe. We welcome visiting choirs and enjoy joining with other Youth choirs in concerts. We have a training choir for younger singers, and a choir for boys whose voices have changed.
