This objective is achieved by exposing students to m...  moreMISSION STATEMENT The primary objective of the Choral Music Program at KCKCC is to educate students through the stylistic variety and tonal diversity of the Choral genre, based on historical precedent. This objective is achieved by exposing students to music of different nationalities and/or cultures and their commitment to recreate a unique tone quality that identifies with the cultural environment of each composition.

It came Highly Commended in Westminster School's Carol Competition in 2012, and was the first Highly Commended entry in The Times Carol Competition in 2013. Apologies for some sound distortion - I've tried my best to edit most of it out. The performers are credited at the end of the video. Hope you enjoy, and Merry Christmas!

Published in 1850, the poem is an extended requiem for the poet's beloved friend Arthur Henry Hallam, who died of a cerebral hemorrhage in 1833, age 22. It is considered one of the greatest poems of the 19th Century and was reported to be a great favorite of Queen Victoria.
