The Barberettes are always looking for new members and would love to welcome you to visit us in rehearsal. We perform at least three concerts per year with professional orchestras or accompaniment in The major Dublin venues and over The years have undertaken trips to choral festivals abroad. Two regular events are The ever-Popular Christmas Concert in The NCH and The Carmichael Centre’s annual fund-raising concert in St, Patrick’s CaThedral, formerly on Good Friday but latterly in May.

Founded in 1989 by Mr. Albert Morland to provide an opportunity for ex-members of The Wonderboom High School Choir to continue singing togeTher after matriculating, it has since evolved to include members from a broader community that come from various backgrounds and professions (including law, accounting, nursing, teaching and IT) and are between 18 and 65 years of age.
