Lusardi Girelli. Since its creation, The GU Choir has offered multiple programmes, concerts and workshops across Goa and India, receiving excellent commentaries from audience and press alike. During The last three years, The Choir has performed at several important venues such as The Ketevan World Sacred Music Festival and The Monte Festival in Old Goa, amongst oThers. The Choir was initially created to unite students with a shared interest in praising The Lord through song. Soon, however, The weekly Choir rehearsals became not only a meeting place, but also a refuge for those looking for a non-threatening and empowering environment. Over The years, The Choir has grown to include members of all races and Christian denominations, and celebrates not only The diversity of its members, but also that of its audiences. The University Choir from Colorado Christian University under The direction of Dr. Frank F. Eychaner performs William Byrd's Sing Joyfully for 6 voices. The a cappella performance was recorded in April 2012 at St. Paul's LuTheran Church in Denver Colorado.

The Drake Choir is Drake University’s select touring ensemble, performing regionally on an annual basis and internationally every four years, most recently in May 2012. It has appeared in major venues in Austria, Germany, Italy, The Czech Republic, Wales...  moreThe Drake Choir is Drake University’s select touring ensemble, performing regionally on an annual basis and internationally every four years, most recently in May 2012. It has appeared in major venues in Austria, Germany, Italy, The Czech Republic, Wales, and Ireland. The ensemble regularly collaborates with The Des Moines Symphony and sang The Beethoven Ninth Symphony with that orchestra in September 2011. The Drake Choir has performed in Carnegie Hall and has been featured on The conference program of The American Choral Directors Association North Central Division. The ensemble consists of 64-70 singers who are first-year students through seniors and who represent every College of The University. Auditions for returning students take place in April and for new students during The weekend preceding The start of The fall semester. The ensemble rehearses Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 3:30-5:00 p.m. and is conducted by Dr. Aimee Beckmann-Collier, Director of Choral Studies and Professor of Condcuting.  less
