Open to anyone (age 8+ to adult) with a love of musical theatre, the group works on excelling in musical theatre singing, good vocal techniques and harmony work. Movement and/or acting plays a part, with plenty of opportunities for solo and small group singing if desired.

Under the direction of John Alexander, the 140-voice Pacific Chorale and its 24-voice professional chamber choir, the John Alexander singers, present an annual concert season at Segerstrom Center and other area venues, as well as appearing as frequent guest artists with local and visiting orchestras. John Alexander and Pacific Chorale have performed numerous local and world premieres, toured internationally to 27 countries in North and South America, Europe and Asia, and released eleven recordings.  less

We rehearse at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. We aim to unite and represent our community through our joy of singing. The choir has over sixty singers rehearsing each week and the main focus in rehearsals is preparation for performances. These performances can take the form of concerts and appearances in festivals and other events in the local community.
