Ave Virgo Sanctissima was performed as one of the compulsory pieces for the Tolosa Choral Contest, in which the Vocal Artists were awarded 4 First Prizes as well as the Prize of the Audience.

The soulful reckoning that they are singing for their Lord and Saviour is what drives the choir in spite of the hectic schedules of its members. The Choir has a good mix of youth and experienced members ranging from an age of 14 years and above. Yeah, we don’t have an age limit!
The East Parade Malayalam Choir is recognized as one of the best church choirs in the Garden city and has been invited to perform in various concerts organised by other churches, institutions and groups. The Choir is conducted by Paul Robinson and rehearses every Wednesday at the Gillingham Golf Club at 8pm. The Choir is currently looking for new members; the ability to read music is not essential, however, it is helpful and can be very useful. The Choir welcomes anyone who has a passion for singing. Like most traditional male voice choirs we learn all of our pieces from memory and do not use copies. The choir has a wide-ranging repertoire from West End showstoppers to opera, religious and traditional choral music. The Choir has gained a reputation for doing many concerts for charity and have raised a lot of money over the years for a number of different causes. The Choir has performed twice at the Royal Albert Hall with over one hundred choirs in the Festival of Brass and Voices for cancer research UK. The Choir has made several tours both at home and abroad and has raised thousands of pounds for charity totaling nearly £3000 in the past year alone less
