After singing together in various choirs, they came to realise that their voices blended effortlessly, creating an exclusive sound and experience. They have now, in an understated way, established themselves as a much sought after ensemble with followers all over the world.
They’ve travelled extensively, performing at weddings, corporate events and concerts in venues as far afield as Rome, Los Angeles and Saudi Arabia, but they’re more than happy to perform closer to home !
The trio creates the perfect atmosphere for your special occasion, be it a wedding, corporate drinks reception or dinner. Their wide ranging repertoire includes well known classical, folk, ballads and contemporary songs.

Our repertoire spans the centuries, from the Renaissance to the 21st Century. Our particular speciality is folk music from all over the globe. Cantóirí sings each song in the original language. We are lucky as we have been able to draw on the language skills of choir members from around the world. Cantóirí perform regularly in Dublin and also enjoy taking part in Choral competitions around the country.

With a membership of 65-70 musicians from throughout the campus, this ensemble is quickly becoming recognized for its musical exc... moreA select mixed ensemble that focuses on masterworks from the 17th century to the present with emphasis given to larger works. With a membership of 65-70 musicians from throughout the campus, this ensemble is quickly becoming recognized for its musical excellence. Recent concerts have included Johann Sebastian Bach’s Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden, Samuel Barber’s Reincarnations and Benjamin Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb. Strong sight-reading skills and musicianship are important to membership. This ensemble is directed by Dr. Jonathan Babcock, associate director of choral activities.
Texas State University Singers rehearses Mondays from 5:00–6:30 PM (M222) and Tuesdays/Thursdays 2:00-3:20 PM (M222) less
