Open to beginners or those wishing to improve their technique with industry professionals from the UK. Over 12 weeks students will follow a curriculum tailored to helping each student develop at their own speed in all three areas of the artform. In Singing students will leave voice techniques, explore ensemble singing and perform a variety of repertoire. In acting students will learn how to develop character in scenes and songs, explore the physical journey of a character, improve stage presence and text analysis. In dance students will look at a variety of jazz techniques core to musical theatre dance as well as perform several musical theatre routines. We are a group of around 60 men based in Hampshire/Surrey in UK and who love to sing. We aim principally to entertain our audiences and ourselves, to raise money for local charities and to have fun doing it.

We were founded by musician Shona Brown in 2009 with 3 choirs and now are 4 community choirs across Bearsden and Lanarkshire with around 180 members. SoundRoutes Singers have performed to sellout audiences at venues across the local region and in 2012 recorded our debut EP Changing Key. The groundbreaking project was in conjunction with Addiewell Prison Choir, also run by Shona Brown, Britain's first prison choir and over £3000 was raised for Shelter Scotland.  less

It features people with disabilites and those without, from every section of the community in Northern Ireland. The age range is extensive, from seventeen to over seventy but most importantly members are united by their love of singing.
