Our next opera will be a fully staged performance of JF Lampe's burlesque 'The Dragon of Wantley', a hilarious pastiche of Handel's operas, sung in English with baroque orchestra, at The lovely Victorian Normansfield Theatre. It was such a riot back in The day that it eclipsed Handel's more serious works!
