Repertoire encom...  moreFounded in October 2008 by Katharina Megli, the Lucy Cavendish Singers are a small Choir of around 16 women. Membership is by audition only. All performances are from memory, delivering carefully-structured, semi-choreographed programmes. Repertoire encompasses jazz, show tunes and folk songs as well as opera and the classical repertoire. Members include fellows and alumnae of Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge, as well as singers drawn from the wider community.

It was recorded during rehearsal for the recital of 'Sacred Choral Classics' given by St Peter's Singers on Saturday 14th March 2009 in the church of St Michael and All Angels, Thornhill, near Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. However, we also hope to raise sufficient funds to record this so that it can become more widely available, and are appealing to as many people as possible to participate in the project by giving whatever they would like, in return for a reward or perk.
