It is located in Ghana, West Africa in a town called Ahinsan in the City of Kumasi. M.I.C performs many kinds of music genre such as Hymns, Choral Anthems, Classical music and contemporary music. M.I.C has its mid-year annual Choral program dubbed Marvelous Praise which features lots of Choirs to perform with them on many kinds of music genre. M.i.C also has its end of year music program dubbed Vespira which is entirely music and prayers featuring other Choirs as well. M.i.C has performed at over 500 functions in Ghana since its existence. M.I.C performs at functions such as Choral Festivals, Church services, Weddings, and other music functions. We are specifically aimed at experienced singers who want to work quickly in a non-regular rehearsal setting. Imagine a Book Club for Choral singers! Each session every two or three weeks, we will look at a couple of new songs, chosen by differend members of the group, from the whole history of music, form Monvererdi to Madness. We have two experienced conductor/singers who will be happy to lead any session, but all singers will be encouraged to lead their own song choices if they wish. The aim, in the first intance, is to have fun exploring as much Choral repertoire as possible, in a fun and collaborative enviroment. We do not intend to book up concerts straight away - once we've had a few meetings and looked at enough repertoire then we'll think about performances. Let's work to get the music right first! Its vision is to become the country's premiere all-male Chorale, exemplifying the best of the Filipino: excellence, discipline and a flair for entertainment. Inspired by the global spirit and nationalistic dedication of the great ilustrado men during Spanish colonial times, the Choir is slowly building a repertoire that includes the best of local and global all-male Choral music. A member of the Madz et al network of Choirs, it is composed of men who had extensive Choral singing backgrounds through their college, church and community/parish Choir experiences.
