The Games included twenty seven thousand Singers from four hundred choirs representing seventy three countries. Dozan wa Awtar, under The leadership of its Founder and Director Shireen Abu Khader, competed in two categories: Scenic Folklore and Mixed Choirs; singing Arabic songs in both and receiving a Gold Diploma in each category. This is The first time Jordan is represented in an international choral competition. On this occasion, Shireen Abu Khader expressed her immense pride at this accomplishment and international recognition and commended The continuous efforts of The Singers which led to this achievement.
