With a membership of around 140 Singing a wide range of music, from big choral works to more modern pieces, both classical, secular and popular, SingSoc welcomes people with a wide range of experience who just want to sing, whether student or not.  

We are a fun, informal choir Singing songs from shows, films and charts - past and present. We welcome members of all abilities and experience. We meet in 2 venues in Norfolk, close to Wroxham and Norwich.

Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all songs are taught and learnt by ear. We sing a varied mix of music from traditional ballads and songs from the West End shows, to popular numbers. We welcome new adult members with or withOut prior choral experience. You do need some musical ability, but it's not essential to read music. Rehearsals are in Wembdon, near Bridgwater, on a Tuesday evening.
