There are three main concerts during the season, typically consisting of Holiday, Classical and Pops music, each performed twice. Are you a singer dedicated to the art of choral music? Do you have other musical or singing experience, recent or years ago, and you wish to join a symphonic choral group that will challenge, delight, and satisfy you musically? Whether your most recent choral singing experience was in school, church Choir, or with other professional-level volunteer choral groups, you are likely to find a fit with the Tower Chorale. They take their name after Bruce Springsteen’s album The Seeger Sessions, since their first concert took place at a lecture on American Folk Music when Springsteen was touring Italy in 2006. In 2011 they published their first CD, Songs of Freedom, a collection of protest songs with a strong connection to the Civil Rights Movement. In 2015 TSV published their first original single, “Graces (Dropping Again)” written by ZogaroS. In 2017 TSV will release a concept album of 16 songs and vocal interludes composed and produced by all the girls. “Broken Dream”, written by Chiara Cortez and Emanuele Jorma Gasperi, is the first single published to launch the record.  less

The group rehearses August through November and January through April with concerts at the end of each session. The group is know for its variety in programming. Directed by Bruce Phelps, the goal of the ensemble is to provide a quality experience for singers and audiences; explore new repertoire and sing music of the masters, and perform with utmost musical integrity through a collaborative and persistent effort by all participants.  less

In their sound they’re combining variety of styles with an emphasis on gospel and pop. They won the 2nd prize in international competition in Verona, Italy in 2008. In 2011. they won silver prize in Rimini, and also, the special prize for the best group up to 12 singers. During 2012. they performed in 3 contests, in Gorizia (ITA) - 1st prize in pop cathegory, Graz (AUT) - bronze in pop cathegory and Rijeka (CRO) - 1st prize in gospel and Jazz.  less

Their repertoire encompasses medieval plainchant, works from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras, contemporary and newly commissioned works.
