The choir welcomes new members at the...  moreThe Gettin’ Higher choir seeks to embrace and celebrate humanity’s highest aspirations through music, welcoming people of all ages and cultures. We are not associated with any particular religion or spiritual path. The choir welcomes new members at the beginning of each season in September and February. There is no audition, and no vocal experience is required, just a desire to sing in harmony with others. Our aim is to re-integrate singing into the daily routines of life. We sing for the pure joy and pleasure it gives us, in an atmosphere that is fun, relaxed, and accepting. Our repertoire consists of both traditional and new songs from many cultures. The majority are sung a cappella (unaccompanied) in 4-part harmony. The choir is divided into three chapters, each practicing the same material on either Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We believe that anyone can sing and are an open-access choir - no auditions, all needs catered for. We have just done two small performances after only rehearsing for 6 weeks!

A community-friendly choir where no previous music experience is needed to be a part of. All you need to do is come with a smile and a passion for singing. No auditions are required and your first two weeks are on us.

These were Chacewater & District Male choir and Carnon Vale Male choir. We aim to be the most entertaining male voice choir in the South West and for the City of Truro to be proud of us. The ethos of the choir is to have fun and enjoy singing. Each year we host a visiting choir and also spend a weekend away. We are a registered charity, and our current membership is over 50.We give approximately a dozen concerts a year  less

The soloists are Anne McCambridge and Margaret Mann. Inclusive is the word which probably best describes Open Arts Community choir. It features people with disabilites and those without, from every section of the community in Northern Ireland. The age range is extensive, from seventeen to over seventy but most importantly members are united by their love of singing.
