The Touring Choir singers and Music Director, Mrs. Jacobs, during a regular weekly rehearsal. These 7th through 12th graders travel the world performing, from Italy to China to Hawaii. They have moved up to the top training level...after starting in beginning levels in the Summit Children's Choir. The 2011 Chamber Choir consists of 12 treble voices, with singers aged 16-24. Accomplishments of this distinguished group include: Gold Standing at MusicFest Canada, Richmond, 2005 "Your Choir resides at the level...of artistry. Nel 2008 Gabriella lascia il coro e viene sostituita brevemente dal M° Benedetto Fiori e, in seguito, da Marta De Colle. Attualmente il direttore è Gino V. Ruoso con cui il coro mantiene il carattere popolare e di montagna, con ampliamento a brani di autori contemporanei.  less

Although their trajectory is short they...  moreTantak Korala is a child-youth group from Mungia, which performs choral activities in addition to his musical training. The Choir is composed by children between 7 to 18, all directed by their conductor, Asun Lopez. Although their trajectory is short they have much encouragement to learn and improve. In 2009, they federated in the Bizkaia´s Choir Federation (BAE) and so they did their first performance in public. Since then, they have decided to continue participing everywhere they can, because it enriches them in their musical konwledge. In 2010 they won the second prize in the National Contest of Carols of Santo Domingo de la Calzada. In 2012 they took part in Europa Cantat Festival, celebrated in Torino (Italy).  less
