PG Carnivalesque" under the patronage of Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, rector of Gdańsk Tech, attracted several hundred people who listened to daring performances of popular pop Music hits. During the performance we heard choral arrangements of hits such as: "Dancing Queen", "Memory", "California Dreamin'" and "Maria". This time it was not Mozart or Bach, but ABBA, Queen and songs from the Musical West Side Story that graced the walls of the Gdansk University of Technology in carnivalesque Musical artistic creations.
Jazz Musicians performed along with the choir, and the Musical effects were accompanied by a unique lighting arrangement, which required appropriate space and audience arrangement.
the more-than-hour-long performance by the Academic choir of the Gdańsk University of Technology, conducted by Prof. Mariusz Mróz and accompanied by Musicians from the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, ended with joint singing, encores and a standing ovation. less

Renaissance, 19th century, modern choral Music, pop, .... - we like nearly every theme and style. We try to use original languages and love to engage us in Music which is not often heard.
We go on stage in self-organized concerts, but perform in smaller occasions, too.

In May, 2013, composer Ola Gjeilo spent 3 days on the Central Washington University Campus to join the choir in recording 4 of his pieces. the other three were "Sanctus", "Luminous Night of the Soul", and "Vast Eternal Skies"
This performance of Gjeilo's "Ubi Caritas II" is from that session, which included a rendition on which the composer later joined the choir and improvised an accompaniment. In this video the choir sings the piece in its published (unaccompanied) version.
This was Mr. Gjeilo's second time on our campus, the first was in the spring of 2011, which resulted in 5 videos and a DVD (http://goo.gl/Xld0o)
As of 2013, the CWU Chamber choir also has recorded videos of the Music of Byrd, Monteverdi, Muehleisen, Singh, Victoria, and Rautavaara on YouTube.

Goal of the choir is equally the choral and Music development of its members and the contribution to the cultural development of Alexandria and the surrounding area.
Although it started as a small ensemble singing monophonic or at best diphone melodies without instrumental accompaniment, today has more than 80 choristers, mostly girls, 10-25 years old, and interprets as a triphonic choir almost all kinds of Music, with an emphasis on the Music of the nations and Greek composers.
