The chorale is an adult auditioned (SATB) community based chorus based in NE Philadelphia. Our current Artistic Director is Gary Eslinger. We perform 2-6 concerts per year at venues throughout the five county Philadelphia area.

It is well known as an iconic music venue attracting major artists. It is also a centre for social justice and community activities. In recent years, the church has been developing music in our Sunday services with a range of genres, classical, Jazz, gospel, and world music. The church has also created several unique events led by our musicians. These have included our annual Christmas Candlelight service, Good Friday evening performances and smaller events to commemorate such occasions as Black History Month, a remembrance event in the Covid pandemic. Besides the usual church festivals, we also have special services for Refugee Week, Gay Pride, Holocaust Memorial, and other special commemorations. Voices of Gotham is open to all singers in the TTBB range interested in the barbershop style. Since the chorus' founding in 2008, VoG has rapidly distinguished itself as one of the country's leading incubators of both new barbershop music, and of young musical artists who will shape the continuing evolution and excellence of the barbershop tradition. VoG is ranked by the BHS as one of the top ten barbershop choruses worldwide.
